According to the latest monthly data from the Texas Railroad Commission, Permian Basin crude oil flows to Houston dropped significantly in June due to planned maintenance on the Wink to Webster (W2W) Pipeline. Volumes fell to 2.16 MMb/d, a decrease of 417 Mb/d drop from May, marking the lowest Permian-to-Houston flows since September 2023 (see blue line on the chart below).

With pipelines to Corpus Christi essentially at full capacity, most of the recent production growth in the Permian has been directed to Houston. However, this trend paused in early June when W2W went offline for planned maintenance to reroute a small segment of the line.
