Largest Weekly Build for U.S. Propane Inventories Since 2014

The EIA reported total U.S. propane/propylene inventories built by 2.9 MMbbl for the week ended July 26, which was higher than industry expectations for an increase of 1.96 MMbbl. This build was the highest for the week since 2014 and 920 Mb/d above the average for the week.

Purity propane stocks reported by the EIA were at 60.0 MMbbl, or 69% of total U.S. inventories, up 3.6 MMbbl from the prior period.
