The US oil and gas rig count declined from last week's numbers led by a dip in the Permian, falling by five for a total of 675 for the week ending July 14 according to Baker Hughes.  Rigs were added in the Bakken (+1) and All Other (+1), while the Permian (-5), Haynesville (-1) and Gulf of Mexico (-1) all lost rigs. Total US rig count is down 73 in the last 90 days, and down 81 vs. this week a year ago.
