Alberta September Crude Oil Production Falls to Five Month Low; Inventory Cover At 15-Year Low

As reported by the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), Alberta’s oil production was 3.8 MMb/d in September 2024 (rightmost stacked bars in chart below), slightly behind the production level of one year ago, and 224 Mb/d lower than August.
